Guinea's coup leader Mamadi Dumbuya said he will meet with the West African country's socioeconomic and political officials as part of the transition following the seizure of power a week ago.
According to the army colonel, meetings will begin on September 14 with leaders of political parties and religious groups, before they are extended to civil society organizations and representatives of diplomatic missions in the country.
Dumbuya said he would meet with mining executives on September 16 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, according to a statement released Saturday on state-owned Radio Television Guineenne. According to him, on September 17, meetings will be held with banks and insurance companies, as well as with trade unions.
